Purpose of Visitor Messages

Visitor Messages preserves the personal voices of members of the Tandara family and researchers who wish to leave a memory, expression of gratitude, short testimony or family story. It complements the genealogy, but does not replace verified civil, parish and archival records.

Publication Only with Permission

A message is published only with the author's explicit permission. Information that is not necessary for understanding the message is not published, and the rules governing the protection of personal information are described in greater detail in the Privacy Policy.

From a Message to an Archival Record

A personal testimony may provide a valuable clue for further research, but genealogical information from a message becomes part of the family archive only after it has been verified and connected with other sources.
