THE FIRST BRANCH OF THE FIRST TANDARA FAMILY
1.0. Jure Tandara, son of Ivan (born c. 1725 )
1.0. Jure Tandara, born between 1720 and 1725, was the eldest son of
Ivan Tandarić, who later established the family surname as Tandara.
He married Matija Lekić, and they had a son,
1.1. Frane, and two daughters,
Anđa and Ana.
1.1. Frane, son of Jure, married
Boža Ćosić, and in 1792 they had a son,
Nikola.
1.1.1. Nikola, son of Frane was the only child of
Frane and Boža Ćosić.
It is not known whether he ever married or had children.
In the 1806 census of Ričice, no members of Jure’s family were recorded. What happened to this family line remains unknown. It is assumed that they moved away, after which all trace of them was lost.
It would be of great interest if one of the descendants of this branch were to come forward one day and confirm their connection to this family.
